The band voted him off of the show a couple of weeks ago, but the fans got to vote online for their favorite performer… so Ryan Star won the spot for Rockstar’s Fan Favorite Encore tonight.
After the first two or three shows, I predicted that Ryan would win the show. It was after I heard his rendition of R.E.M.’s “Losing My Religion” that I thought he is way too good to front Supernova…
In my opinion, the kid can sing, play piano, play guitar, write, and perform to the likes of any established artist out there.
I think that Toby Rand would be the best fit for the band. Even his original song is a perfect fit for Supernova’s cheesy rock tracks.
It would be interesting to see Ryan’s album top Supernova’s on the rock charts. I think it may happen… I guess we’ll just have to wait and see!
