Page: C4PLAINFIELD DUO TOO MUCH FOR SYCAMORE
SYCAMORE — Chris Chung and Joe Krotz teamed up for both goals in Plainfield High School’s 2-1 soccer victory over Sycamore Thursday.
Krotz scored 10 minutes into the first half with an assist from Chung, and then assisted on Chung’s goal, his 17th of the year, that gave Plainfield a lead it would not relinquish.
“It’s tough to replace Justin Arabadjief and Joe Lotarski,” Plainfield coach Steve Schermerhorn said of last year’s graduates who combined for 43 goals.
“But right now Chung’s doing a nice job of finishing. He’s the scorer.”
Plainfield improved to 8-5-2.
