Welcome to cK’s personal playground
Yo! Glad to see you made it...
I'll be using this site as my own personal blog. Basically, I'll be posting whatever the hell I feel like posting. I guess it will be more like an online repository for my thoughts. A virtual notebook/idea book/scratch pad/sticky note, per se...
I won't be writing for a particular audience and there will be no rhyme or reason to my posts. If you don't like it, then screw you - you tasteless, unimaginitive, dull, conforming zero... (Ooh...)
If you have anything to say, please leave comments and let me know what's up!
You can read more about me on my About cK page...

I just finished watching The Black Donnellys for the second time.
I originally watched it last night when it premiered on NBC and we still have it on our DVR, so I watched it again today while Paula watched it for the first time.
I liked it the first time… and after my second viewing, I have confirmed that I love the show.
I would sum it up as a mix of an Irish version of a modern Micheal Corleone saga meets the Caffee brothers meets the Dueces.
With Paul Haggis behind it, you can’t go wrong.
I’m hooked on the show “Brotherhood” on Showtime. I started watching it On Demand last week and now I’m on episode 10 of 11.
It’s based around two brothers… one is a politician and the other is a gangster.
There are two recognizable actors/actresses:
Annabeth Gish is just damn sexy. I fell in love with her on Beautiful Girls - friggin’ excellent movie…
Ethan Embry from Can’t Hardly Wait fame is all growd up and plays a cop…
And they aren’t even the main characters!
I turned on REALsports with Bryant Gumble this morning and one of the stories they covered today was homeless soccer:
Common Goal
In August 2003, REAL SPORTS told the remarkable story of New York City homeless men who gathered to play soccer on a team created by the Grand Central Neighborhood, a social services organization for disadvantaged adults. Week after week, a group of regulars from street corners and shelters met for practice and competition that gave them a renewed sense of purpose. The bonus arrived when they were able to travel to Austria to represent the U.S. in the first-ever Homeless World Cup. Mary Carillo revisits this extraordinary team and gives an update on its players.
The band voted him off of the show a couple of weeks ago, but the fans got to vote online for their favorite performer… so Ryan Star won the spot for Rockstar’s Fan Favorite Encore tonight.
After the first two or three shows, I predicted that Ryan would win the show. It was after I heard his rendition of R.E.M.’s “Losing My Religion” that I thought he is way too good to front Supernova…
In my opinion, the kid can sing, play piano, play guitar, write, and perform to the likes of any established artist out there.
Dude… so, I’m sittin’ here watching the 100th episode of Cribs on MTV. Joey Fatone (’N Sync, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Rent) is the first to go and, so far, he has the coolest house that I have ever seen.
The inside of the house is freakin’ huge! I think it said something like 16,000 square feet! That is about 15 times the size of my condo. The master bedroom is enormous, the master bath is gigantic, and the closet is probably bigger than my condo.
