I’m sure you’ve all heard about the Southern California fires by now. I hope so, anyway… it’s only the biggest news in the country this week.
First of all, I want to thank those of you who have taken the time to call or message me to see if we are okay. We’re not in a fire-prone area, so we shouldn’t be in any danger. However, it’s good to know that our friends in the Midwest are thinking about us.
At the risk of sounding like a wuss… I’m gonna have to say that this could quite possibly be the cutest thing I’ve ever seen (watch the entire clip):

Wow, I’ve been pretty busy. It’s been about two weeks since my last post!
So, 2006 came and went pretty quick… I started this blog in August and have made 69 (that wasn’t on purpose) posts, so far.
Like I said, I’ve been pretty busy lately and have refocused my priorities… so I’m probably going to slow down a bit on the meaty posting. With that said, I may actually be posting more due to my new implementation of the Tidbits category. If you take a look at my previous post, you will know what I mean.
If you live under a rock, you still probably heard the monumental news announced today about international soccer star, David Beckham.
Via ESPNsoccernet:
David Beckham will leave Real Madrid at the end of the season and join side Los Angeles Galaxy on a £128million ($250 million) five-year deal - which works out at a mere half-a-million pounds a week.
The former England captain will leave Real in June and begin his new career in Major League Soccer in August.
Paula and I have been to a few LA Galaxy games, but I’m thinking about season tickets now!!!
Holy crap, last year went by fast!
2006 was a big year for me all-around, and I’m looking forward to even bigger things for 2007.
