The Life and Times of CK Chung

I’ve played bocce on two different occasions over the last week, which is more than I’ve played over the past 3 years!

I love bocce and I like to think that I am pretty good. It didn’t take me long to get back into the swing of things.

Apparently, bocce isn’t as big out here on the West Coast as it is in the Midwest. Back in college, we used to play all the time. I guess you could say that we were (and still are) pretty big into the yard games - bocce, bags, washers, etc…

If you haven’t heard, Pluto has been officially demoted to “dwarf planet” status.

In response to this, I am starting a petition to Reinstate Pluto.

I have added a button in the top navigation bar - “Planet Pluto!” - which leads to a page that is dedicated to the reinstatement of Pluto back to “planet” status.

What the hell am I doing?

This morning, I left for work like usual. I drove out of my complex when I realized I forgot my cell phone. So, I turned around and went back to get it.

It sucked cuz the pups were so happy to see that I was back and I had to leave them again.

So, I’m on my way to work… again… listening to The Daily SearchCast, which I downloaded yesterday.

Last night, we went out to BJ’s in Brea for dinner with some friends and then we all headed over to the Brea Improv to catch John Pinnette in action.

It was actually my first time at a stand-up comedy club. I’ve always wanted to go to one, but just never have. Though, I have been to Second City in Chicago, which is more of an improv show than a stand-up act.

Yesterday, my department went out to the Del Mar Race Track for the horse races.

It was my first time ever at the tracks, so I really didn’t know what it was going to be like… It was awesome! We drank, chilled, talked, and bet on horses…

I won $30 not even knowing what I was doing!
